Frequently asked questions.
We are all about sharing information! It makes for great relationships. Here's a quick overview of our modus operandi.
1. WHAT IS A CREATIVE BRIEF AND WHY SHOULD I HAVE ONE? The creative brief is written by the client and gives a thorough detail of the design project from the perspective of the client and is reviewed and agreed upon by the design team. Its purpose is to provide information and clarity to the designer before the design process begins and also acts as a point of reference for both client and designer. It includes a short bio of the client, lists the project objectives, documents the budget, timeline, and includes a list of examples or inspirations if possible. The more detail you include, the better we can understand your needs. Download a PDF sample creative brief here.
2. HOW LONG? TIMELINES? It depends on the type of project and how involved it is. You provide us with a deadline and we work back from there in order to meet your timelines. We will be upfront and let you know right away if your timeline is unachievable given the scope of your project.
3. HOW MUCH?
It depends on your project and just how big or small it is. If your budget is limited, we will develop creative that fits within your means whenever possible. Are you a non-profit organization? Please let us know. We love helping out good causes!
4. OUR PRINTER OR YOURS? We prefer to use people we already have solid relationships with and that have proven track records in terms of quality, deadlines and keeping everything on budget. If you feel strongly about sourcing your own printer - no problem. We just can't be held responsible for results once approved art leaves The Buzz.
